Your opinion on hertz??
Thursday, December 28, 2006 4:06 PM
What do guys think of hertz speakers? I picked up a set of Hertz ESK-165 6.5" components and i think they sound pretty damn good. They are made from the same company as audison and focal i beleive. Just wondering if anyone knows of the company's quality/reliabilty?

just because they hire idiots at future shop who work off commission on the ish they sell there doesnt mean it isnt a reputable company. I happen to own 4 orion amps myself.

Orion is bunk dude, it's so 1993. You can get that jazz at wal-mart. As far as hertz, um, never heard of it. Do a google search on it, see what it comes up with.

Sounds good guys, I've been running them now for a few days with no problems, they made a big improvment over the JBL's i was using!

My buddy works at Future Shop and he is always telling me how there's the guys who work there and don't know dick all about what they are selling unless it makes them a good chunk of change.

Almost all people at future shop/best buy/circuit city are just parts changers/basic parts installers. Everything they have is "the best" or "top of the line". That's why I avoid them like the plague.

Alright, so apparently the reason why most of us have never heard of Hertz is because they are an Italian audio company that has been making some head room in the US market. They are an entry level to high-end comp. production and from what I read in some Australian reviews produce some real quality audio equipment, even their intro stuff. I think I'm gunna look into them when I upgrade my front speakers.

Hertz is some high quality stuff that rivals focal. My buddy has a set and they sound phenomenal.

Whats up people?
