but im on a budget and got this for a great deal from a friend who needed quick cash:

i'll be building enclosures for it this weekend.. any suggestions for tuning.. hookup, etc? (besides trashing it)

its not bad for something basic. You should see how my "basic" set up is.. its all ghetto wired up...haha. I think i have a link on my file.
The only suggestion i have...you probably know.. 3/4in MDF.. lol Good luck

Get a pre-fab sealed box at 1 cubic foot per side and you'll be golden.

Definitely go with the sealed box. And here are some better specs for your amp such as what it produces at a 2 ohm stereo load.
