Hey guys,
I'm sorry if this has been answered somewhere before, but I see varying answers. I called my GM dealership directly and they have no clue (bunch of morons).
In my 2005 Chev. Cavalier base model, what size is my stock deck, is this a 1.5 DIN (as Bestbuy and Futureshop in Toronto keep telling me) or a 2 DIN which I think it is.
If I was to buy a 2DIN deck and put it in, will it fit fine with no mod's needed.
Please if someone can help and set this straight for once it would be greatly appreciated.
Waqas.
It's a double din. You can fit a single din with a dash kit.
I was looking to fit a double din straight into the exisiting slot with no mod'z, I should be ok? Any double din deck ?
You'll have to cut into the surround in your dash for most to fit.
Yup, theres room for a double din. But the pretty stuff will have to be chopped up
