Hey everyone. I have a completely stripped rear end of the car, nothing from the back of the seats to the trunk but bare metal (no backseat or plastic molding, nothing).
Im Going to be building a box where the subs mount where the seatback used to be, amps are on where the bench would be, etc.
While the car is empty, Id like to soundthe interior as much as I can.
Question is, What is the best form of soundproofing to use, i assume dynamat is the best, but probably because its the only one that I know of.
Actually I have a load of questions. Are there different sizes? Im going to run 2 12" alpine type r's at about 1200 Watts. What size to get? What brand?
And is there a "cheapest place" to get it that anyone knows of?
any info you can provide i appreciate. thanks for helping a mild audio n00b.
!
I used brown bread made by b-quiet in my car, search ebay for it. Also look for fatmat, it's pretty cheap.
