How do I find out my subwoofer displacement so I build a big enough enclosure?
I have:
2x Power Acoustik FUBR-15
3 cu. in. ported per sub
set the example, never let the example set you.
I know some companies have an A: B: C: on the description of their subs like parts-express, but dont know what to measure to find out
set the example, never let the example set you.
does it tell you the requiered length for the port for each sub??? other than that all you need is
a=length
b=width
c=hight
so for example , to get 3.0 cubic feet you would go
a=15.5 inches
multiplied by
b=16.75 inches
multiplied by
c=20 inches
devided by
1728= 3.04 cubic feet now remember these would be the inside dimensions of the box so depending on the mesurements you would use 5/8 mdf or 3/4 mdf with appropriate bracing
dude i already gave you box measurements
no i mean the the subwoofer displacement. dont you have to add the actual space the subwoofer takes up with the recommended box size?
that my question
set the example, never let the example set you.
well i am unable to find the specs other than the basics but it should be about .08- .10 cubuc feet as a rough geuss
i agree its not going to change the volume a whole lot. plus is going to be in a vented or sealed enclosure?
i beg to differ each of my woofers displace over.25 times 4 thats alot
