So. cmon guys and gals. where did you guys mount your alarm modules at. i just ordered a new Autopage RS-727LCD and i need to know the best place to mount it. keep in mind it DOES have remote start so anywhere around the ignition harness would be great. also. i will be hooking up the power door locks to it. and my trunk release. so somewhere remotely close to all this would be great. i HAD my last alarm in the dash. but its a pain in the ass. and when i had my dash apart all the wiring looked like hell. any help is apreciated.
I have mine in the area infront of the center console behind the panel right next to the gas pedal. Mines a autopage rf-520. Im not scared to give out my alarm location.
thats why i got the 2 way
Inside the top of the dash pad. A thief won't get to my alarm before I kick his ass, ever.
I have no siren and no flashing lights. Just a pager with a 2 mile radius. Any further, and I'm not getting there in time anyway, so who cares.
No one else is going to do anything to someone breaking into my car except for me.

since youve got a vert.. are you using ultrasonic sensors.. so the alarm would go off should somebody slice the ragtop ?
I put mine behind the gauge cluster. It fit perfect sideways... the second relay pack for the remote start is under the steering wheel.
I would take off the top of the dash pad and install it in there somewhere. The wires should be plenty long enough.

But of course.... can't give away all my secrets now
