Here's my problem...I want to buy a pair of L7's and Kicker ZX1000 amp which will run me about $600 but it'll take me a few months but I can afford to get a pair of CompVR 12s and ZX750 for 280 and I have no sounds 'cept factory. what would u do?
Save up. If you want the better stuff, don't buy and buy and buy again till you have what you want. It's a waste of money.
id tough it out, anything for a pair of L7s
I'm with Jeff - save up until you get what you want. If you're like any of us, chances are excellent anyway that you'll get tired of the L7s within the next year or so, and start looking around for much better subs and amps. Things rarely are loud enough or sound good enough lol!

im easily impressed, sorry.
if it was me and I was choosing between 2 properly powered CVRs and 2 underpowered L7s... I'd go with the CVRs. A pair of L7s is 1500rms, that ZX1000 is probably only going to put out 1200rms. Where as your ZX750 is going to put out over 900rms most likely, so your CVRs will get more than enough power.
i have 2 L7 15s in my sedan trunk.. i'm wanting to do a wall with 4 L7 15's you wont get tired of them if you have the right power and have everything tuned right and not by jack in your neighborhood.... but to each his own.. i personaly like kicker better then JL.. JL doesn't get loud they get clear..
just riding around in the 4 door cav
