i just puchased a cd4000 eclipes radio,and i put it in hooked it all up and my amp doesn't turn on with the blue and white acessory wire.what would cause this not to work.is there another wire i should use.it's in my 05 cav sedan
i have a eclipse cd5400 and its in my 05. if the amp ising turing on did you check your ground and you power line? if so you prob have a bad remote on line.
i checked all that and it,s fine.could i use the power antenna wire for the power.
Not unless you only want power to your amp while listening to the radio. Power antenna doesnt get power during cd player operation. If need be, try running a power wire and switch, although I wouldn't recommend it.
i got it all fixed.the problem was my bass ajustment switch i got with my mtx amp.the wire came loose and wouldn't let the amp work right.the eclispe radio has a bass ajustment in the radio so everythings good to go now.thanx for everyone who help me out with this problem.
