hi...i was wondering if it would be better to get one of These amps or 2 of These amps to power 2 of These 12" subs. ok sound quality wise which amp would be the better choice. since im powering 2 subs i dont know if a mono amp would be the best choice and thats what i want to know. also is powering 1 sub with a 2 channel amp any better.

sorry i know this was asked 2 years ago but i didnt want to bring that thread back from the dead

SL-3400D is the way to go. You would wire each sub in series, then bring them together in parallel for a final load of 2 ohms and 2100 watts

1 > 2. reasons are: class D (more efficient), if you have a shared volume box, what if one amp is working more than the other or the amp is slightly out of phase compared with the other, less wiring needed, and less amp area needed.

the d amp is good for hella bass but d amps are sloppy the two channels are a lot clearer so its on how good you want it to sound
