Not sure if thats what it is actually called but I am referring to that little black knobby thing that tells when the door is shut, causes the chime to be annoying when you leave your keys in the ignition etc etc. Anyway the one on my drivers side is shorting so even when the door is closed the car acts as if its not, obviously this needs to be repaired or replaced but I have no clue how to remove the switch. I tried to see if I cou;d get to it from behind but no luck it looks as though its built right into the frame. Tried turning it as if it was screwed in place but no luck. Do I just pry it off or what? As always any help would be greatly appreciated

yea just pull it out....go to the deal get a new switch
