Any ideas for a 6" and 2 " component setup?

Both sound GREAT. Go to an audio Shop and listen to some component systems. I compared these with some Boston Acoustics, and some other speakers and they were great, i got similar ones to the Kenwoods, the only problem was that they required 2Ohm, and my 4 channel only supported 4Ohm, so I had to buy another amp. Because of the low power it was only 35 bucks though, so it wasn't a huge problem. Installing the Amp today, the speakers are already in.

I'm currently running these, and am really impressed for the price. Then again, they're the first speakers I've used that aren't stock so I may impress easily.

I can also vouch for the Infinity components in front Q forms - I have these in my vert (had to heavily modify the Q forms to make them fit, the shape of the floor in the kick panel area in the verts is different) and they do sound wonderful. Note that Polk and Infinity are about the only speaker firms in this category that have a design legacy based on high end home hi-fi, and it shows - their sound quality is way above most of their competitors.

i got these speakers and lemme tell you...they are LOUD and sound very good. They are very clear provide good SQ imo. Definatley amp them up...they are power hungry...they fit in the front doors with very little mod....some mdf wood and your good to go. I know your gonna be using kicks but they dont touch the window either =) then again i got roll ups

just make sure you check that you can get them to fit. the q-forms have generally only been built for 5.25 speakers but some 6.5 do fit,

as for whats been said infinity makes a good middle line speaker what you want is going to depend on your pricerange.

Thanks everyone for the input. It is very much appreciated. Based off what everyone has posted here, Infinity is the way to go. With a price range of 90+ for them, it will be worth a try. Thanks again.

Are you running these in kick panels or did you mod them to fit your doors? I'm trying to find out which 6.5 setup will fit my pods without modding them.

They're in my doors -- unfortunately I don't have experience with kick pods. I don't see why you would have any trouble though. What I can tell you is that they're fairly shallow, which allowed me to mount them with minimal modification. I used premade plastic mounting brackets from eBay, and the only headache was that they stuck out about 1/2" too much at the bottom to leave the door panel alone. I did a bit of fancy hole-cutting and mounted the included speaker grille on each door to accomodate the driver. The tweeter went up top by the mirror adjustment control.

Ahh I see... Well I don't see why I would have much of a problem either, but I was just wondering this. That is all. I still may go with the 5 inch mids just to be safe though. I don't want no trouble installing.
