I just baught a pair of Focal poly glass 165 V1's and in my opinion they sound great, i was just wondering if anyone else has baught focal equipment or knows anything about them, their website isn't to informative.
well what do you want to know about them. .
Sounds Good, just wanted to hear some peoples opinion on them, i spent quite a bit on them so i wanted to make sure they were a good invesment
Focal is all I have, and I also had a partial sponsorship through a few years ago. They are very high end and unless you are a millionaire would be the best choice for the money. If you look at all the major competitors: Steve Head, Keith Doney, Keith Turner, etc.... several of them had Focal then got sponsored by DLS and went back to Focal within 2 years. They all said Focal sounds the most realistic out of any of the other brands. You made a good choice and you are obviously serious about sound quality if you spent the money on this line. You won't regret your purchase.

I saw a guy in a stereo shop trying to sell some Alpine Type-r against a set of Focal's... It was classic.

My installer has a set of KPs in his Porsche and they are unbelievable. They may have been just as good, if not better than my JBL GTi components (old set up).
I will be running all Focal speakers and have the K2Ps to replace my GTi but I have yet to hear them. Just waiting for the car to be repainted, so re-assembly can begin.
I run them as well, but make sure you break them in before you play it loud. They are like an engine. If you ease into it slowly with caution, they will be worth the money. I love mine. Don't power them off the deck and don't put a lower class amp to them and try to use the best RCA cables. It'll make a noticeable difference.
i'm planning on getting an alpine PDX-4.100 amp to run them, hopfully it doesn't over power them to much.
anyway i have some pictures of my install for you guys, tell me what you think.
i thought of that but i wanted to keep that speration so that i could keep the two tone effect and have that cravace there to accentuate the effect
Nice job.

If there is enough gap behind that, hookup a neon behind each speaker pod so it shines around the perimeter of the crevice, but not the string light crap. Might look good.
