Well, I just build a dual 10 inch sub box that fits in behind the back seat of my car. It looks good, sounds ok (it's a bit big for my Kens), and i made it with my own sweat and blood....But, My tastes have changed.
Anyways, I am planning to sell the subs and amp to a friend who wants a system, and building flush spare tire area sub setup for an new singular 12" sub. Is The
Infinity 1250w any good? anyone had experience with it? I plan on pushing 300W through a Clarion Amp, and the sub would be in 1.25 cft sealed box. Pretty standard box with a large plate to fill the well, With Some sound deadening underneath, and the Amp mounted out of view. Basically, Im looking for a clean view, and slightly less weight than the huge box i have for my measly kenwoods. The Kens were decent in my last ride, which was my first system ever. But I've updated my sound, components in the front, soon some higher end 6 x 9 in my fiberglass deck, and they don't hit like i would like them too, or add the sound i wish they did. I installed a 12inch Alpine in a sealed box in a friends ride and with only 200W, it was twice as loud and hit twice as heard as my dual kenwoods which leads me to believe, these things suck. Im not looking for Bass that you can hear from a mile away, i am more for audio quality, and higher volume with clarity. Will this get me there?
