I was wondering what everyone thought about these subs...

They are the Kenwood Excelon Shallow mount subs. I want to get the 12" ones. Two of them. They are going in my Ram, which is a regular cab, so I have to get shallow mounts.

How well made are they? Can they keep up with techno in a sealed, and properly tuned box?

How would they compare to my JL's I just sold? Better/worse/same?

I'm despretly trying to find a place that has them in stock so I can listen to them, but no one seems to carry many shallow mounts around here.

Blaupunkt, kenwood, and pioneer all make nice shallow mount subs. You'll be pleased.

I heard those at a local stereo shop and i was actually thinking on buying a set until i bought a set of 12 inch 1200watt kenwood subs,then again 200$ for both brand new is an alright deal
