I use Magnadynes products www.magnadyne.com
they have bee around for over 30 years so a proven track record is great.Remember though ....an alarm is only as good as the installation .
I install viper's all day....mostly the viper 5900 sst with a mile range. They are fairly easy to install and work very well. BUT i personally have a Prestige APS 997 with a quarter mile range. Install is a lil more involved but i like the remote better and it has more features than the viper. For the most part i would say go with viper or prestige. I have also installed code alarm and crime stoppers alarms they arent bad either. There are a bunch of other good brands out there but i have not dealt with them soooo maybe some one else could chime in GL!
compustar.... have one in my car and my parents sunfire... both work great no problems... my sister has a ultrastart... but she has gone through 4 remotes.... anyways personally I think I would be more worried about finding an excellent installer then having the nicest alarm... because I have friends who sunk well over 1000 into their alarms and the installs were really shotty...
i have an Autopage RS-727 LCD and i love it. it shows the time. temperature, it has remote start, and of course your lock, unlock, trunk pop. another thing i like about this thing is the ability to lock the buttons. and also it is 6 channels also for whatever other things you want to control with it. but like i said. i love it.
My alarm is an Ungo, it was already installed by the previous owner. The Alarm fob has been through a 40% wash cycle and it STILL works. So im happy with it haha.

I have an Autopage something or other in the Cav (Robbie had it installed) as well, but has the same features
Compustar 2-Way alarm/remote start with 3,000ft range in the DD
Presitge with extras on the Blue 02.
Compustar is GREAT for the range and 2way feature.
Viper is great also.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
