I have my Pioneer CD player from my wrecked car and I'm looking at putting it into my current car. I have everything I need, but looking at my harness, I see this:



There's a loose red wire shoved into the terminal of another red wire. Everything else is securely connected, and it won't come out easily.
I didn't have any extras with my stereo in my old car, so I have no idea what this would be.

Do I need it?

looks like it got depinned some how, just re pin it and your good to go
