Rear Speaker Messed Up

Hi guys. I'm not too familiar with intalling audio equipment but I replaced the rear 6X9 speakers in my car recently. The factory 6X9's were the optional ones with the built-in subwoofers. So anyways, my problem is that while the one on the left works fine, the one on the left doesn't work until you fade and balance it so that only that speaker is supposed to be on. Then, you crank the volume and it goes on. It stays on for a random amount of time then goes out again.I'm not too sure on what to do. I hope someone can give me some advice.

Most likely a head unit / wiring issue.

could be a wiring issue, or you might be grounding out somewhere.

what he said. sounds like the speaker wire to that speaker is shorting out somewhere. check your connections then trace the wires around.
