Can Monsoon amp power a set of components?

I think the stock Monsoon put out 220watts, but i'm not sure how much it's putting to the front components. Can i just swap out the from components for another set? Does the stock deck have enough power??

will it work? sure... will it work well? probably not. If it was me I'd just amp them, u can keep that h/u if you really want, but amp the speakers... the best thing is to amp them and go with a new h/u as well, but maybe that isn't in your price range? I know that a few places have really good deals on items because of the holiday season coming up. BUT then again I am in no way an expert on car audio forums and i'm sure that you will get a much more insightful response from others

Hope this helps?

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

I dont think it has 200 watts. Have you seen the wires that go into the amp? They are tiny, not enough to carry the current for 200 watts a real 200 watts will probably pull about 16 amps and it is fused at 10. at 14 volts it would be making 140 watts at most.
