Audio layout

okay I am doing away with the subs and what not but I still want to have some decent tunes in the car. So here are my plans. I am not looking to spend alot of money but just want some decent tunes in the car. I have heard all of this and it's got a clean sound. The bass link is just there as a fill in bass.

Alpine CDA-9833
Kicker KS6.5 6.5" Components
Kicker KS693 6x9 3 way Speakers
Kicker ZX350.4
Infinity Basslink 10" powered subwoofer

I would just assume put some decent power to the 6x9's. They can put out some Bass. Maybe even a single 10" sub mounted in the corner of the trunk (near the tail lights) with some sound mat. To each their own. I have heard those speakers, not the sub, and i agree, they do sound good. How deep do the 6 1/2's mount? I know I had trouble with my 6 3/4 (really a "oversized" 6 1/2) I have a buffer of wood that pushes the door panel out just a smidge, you can't see a difference, but the window crank does rub a little bit.

Good luck! I hope it sounds great!

cartronix has good prices on kicker amps, I purchased from them before, didn't have any problems, they do seem a bit sketchy though....

I have a set of 3/4" MDF adapters from when I had infinity 6.5's in the doors. I can also mount the bass link to the back seat so I have some room in the trunk and everything can just be tucked together nicely. I have heard the basslink and that would be more than enough for what I need.
