Does anyone know who makes the Instrument Panel Cluster for the Sunfire's ?
Rganks...
more than likely delco y?
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Want to get a module to feed a signal to the stock Tach so it works without getting it from the PCM.
i doubt its possible.
car audio noob since 1984.
There was someone who'd managed to reverse engineer the cluster... so they could independently drive each of the needles and so on... can't for the life of me remember who that was though.... maybe someone on Racer's Edge if I recall correctly.
...j
Doh, and that was a 2000-05 style of cluster... wouldn't help ya, if you're using the 96 cluster. Sorry...
Bought a Sunpro Tach II - Tach for now. Opened it up. It has (4) contacts to the Needle drive motor just like the Sunfire Tach. Was going to cut the contact pins off of the Sunfire Tach and wire in the Sunpro tach and attach it to the back of the IPC with it hooked up to the 3800SC as it is right now. Just can't figure out which of the (4) wires on the Sunpro backboard goes to SIN+, SIN-, COS+,COS- wires in the Sunfire IPC.
QuikLilCav and John Lenko. I've gotten lots of help from you guys over the past (2) years, and I've probably never said "Thank You" once. So... "Thank You" for all the help.
My Sunfire is running strong with the 3800SC. So strong that I have to keep it throttled down because it wheel hops in 1st and spins all the way through 2nd gear. It's a 5-speed (Isuzu rebuilt with '93 GEO Storm third member ass'y (machined gears) and Team Green LSD).
Again, "Thank You" to you guys, and anyone else that has helped me here at the "Body"... Steve Roberts
