Ok so for Christmas i got a Ractive Shifter knob (auto) I know how to install it thats not a problem but what is a problem is the ETS . I have a button on the side of the stock knob which controls the on/off mode for the ETS So when i remove the knob can i do one or both of the below?
1. Re-wire the original switch to somewhere else on the dash/center console.
2. Join the wires together to make a constant loop which if im correct will mean the ETS will stay on constantly which isn't a problem?

yea a simple toggle switch some where should work fine,
or you can join wire it permanitly on and do what us cavalier owners do to dissable it... pull the ebrake up a notch

if it has a button for ets, connect it to the ets switch wires, you will jsut have to hit the switch twice for every action. so on-off to disable. on-off to enable.
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Ok thanks guys, i just didnt want to go and remove it then find that i cant re-wire it somewhere else. Thought it best to check
Anyway thanks for the help.
