Trunk Cubic ft ?

Well i was looking to see how much air space i had to play with! I measured 3ft wide x 3ft deep x 15'' high and came up with a total of 11.25 cubic ft ?? Am i right on this calculation? What i'm looking to do is make an enclosure that will slide into the trunk from the front. The face of the box will be exactly the slope of the back part of the back seat, or the rear deck. On top of the rear deck i will make a plate that will cover up that area, that will be carpeted with possibly a set of component's.

Now with the displacement of the sub's and port's and braceing i figured i have around 4.25 - 4.5 cu ft to play with. Anyone know if i am correct on these numbers?
It will be a best guess as i do not yet know what sub's i will be using nor the port size i will have to use. Guess im just thinking out loud.

i remember researching this, i believe we (cav/sunfire) have 12.1 or 12.4 cubic feet. You have to remember all those little nooks and crannies...ha
