I got a Directed Viper d 600.1 Class D amplifier that is currently running 2x15 inch old pioneer. I want to get some room in my trunk and I was wondering if this sub would be good for that amplifier : Clicky !

Just one of those? I think your amp is 2 ohm stable, right, and if so, you'll be fine with that.

good thing about that sub is you can port the box and still have plenty of space

Do yourself a favor and leave that where ever its at. I am not trying to be rude but those things sound really bad. We have sold a few at the car audio shop that I work at and they sound so bad that we usually give them a refund or store credit. Just my $0.02

no disrespect brother but i have heard and seen the off brand MA Audio MA12D4 sub your talking about and was impressed. however if you wanna something similar go with A Rockaford P3 or T1 cant go wrong with those. Just like modifying your car if you want good car audio you got to fork the cash. Unless you got lucky enough like me to get 400+ $ amps for 40$ off Items are Risk AT A BESTBUY lol still cant get over how stupid they are there.

I got yesterday two brand new P3 dual 4 ohm for 60$ a peice. THEY HIT HARd, and installed some 6x9 which was stupid since GM cant make + red and the - black insisted they need to have there own scheme..

btw if you buying something online, and you choose sonicelectronix.com GOOD CHOICe there a great company.

10 W6v2 FTMFW! beats out most 12" subs....although, i deff. wouldn't pair it with that amp......and judging from your first choice of sub, it's way out of your price range. so technically my post was irrelevant ...spend some money, get better sound don't go cheap on car audio. get a 12" Alpine Type-R if you want cost effectiveness and "good" sound. But there's always better.

Elemental designs, 13Ov.2....

ED subs have awesome powerhandeling and are extremely efficent, plus are built for small sealed or vented designs!
