ok hid guys. i have some hids and they say they are just plug and play. i hooked the connector from the ballast to the cars headlight connector. and thats pretty much it. there are no other connections to connect to. and they will not work. what am i doing wrong. thanks guys. by the way i have a 2002 z24.
idk if our cars having switched negative headlights have anything to do with that
what does that mean switched negative headlights? sorry dont know what you mean
the middle wire is 12v+ all the time the wires that trigger the low or high beam also have +voltage when you turn you lights on the low beam wire that was + switches to negative.
i understand that now and on the hids there is only two prongs on the hid kit that plugs into the stock bulb connector.
try flicking your high beams on.
yeah i did that to nothing happened lol. im just thinking i git a bad seat up. but what the odds of that? the people i bought it from are a decent company. i think i might just give them a call in the morning.
