Anyone have information on where to go through the firewall to run a power cable for amps??

i ran mine through the grommet where the other wires go into the engine bay... i cut a slit in it and fed it through.

Mines a bit more snug, but same idea, I poke a screw driver through, and shove the (bigger) wire through the hole. This keeps a seal around the wires.
same idea, but i used an awl
1997 Cavalier Z24 - 16.3 in 1320 and falling...
.........O mines got a couple pieces of 1/0 through it now and its tight
So how did you guys get to it? In my 03 I have a large plastic casing in the way... not quite sure what it is but someone on here might know... I'll have pics later if needed...

If you mean on the engine side, if the 03 is anything like the 97, I just reached under that (brake booster...)with a foldable utility knife, and cut a slit in it, did likewise on the otherside and had someone help feed the wire (15ft of 0 gauge can be a chore to pull without ripping the heck out of the grommet....
I had three runs of 0awg through there so there is room lol
You are never going to find a bigger friendlier grommet in another car than Jbody's.

tons of room in there for wires. easier to go through the interior and push towards the engine bay. use some dish soap if necessary

after you cut a slit from the cabin side you could also bend a metal coat hangar straight, tape your wires to it, and push through from the cabin side if your having trouble reaching under the brake booster with your hands.
