I had a wireless box for my underglow neons originally but i decided i wanted to change it up for a switch so i knew when they were on/off, The switch has 3 connections, Ground, ACC and Power. I want to wire my neons up to the switch so i disconnected the wireless box and installed the switch, I connected + to the positive neons cables running to the battery and the same on the ground side but obviously to the grounds. But the neons stayed on constantly even when i turned off the switch. Now i may just be completley stupid but why is it not working? Could somebody please explain how to wire it up so it works.

I seem to be having a bad day so i thought i would ask before i broke something.

power is your 12v source
ACC is to whatever you want to switch on/off (that item's power wire)
ground is for the light on the switch.
