Please check my sub wire.. QUICK question w pic

FIrst off its a really simple question i think, and searching didnt provide me the answer i was looking for so id appriciate the help.

So, I picked up a 12" Alpine Type R today,it is the Dual 4-ohm model and i want to wire it to two ohm, i used woofer wizard on RF website, and wired it the way in the picture, but it was already wired with both positive and negative on one sub to the other, and then that sub to the amp when i got it, so I was wondering which way is correct.

Anyone that knows what they are doing should know the answer in 2 seconds, but im curious before i put it back in the box and go put it in the car. Thanks

i got the wires shortened and put in there, and didnt get it new so i dont have the jumpers... but its gonna have to come out soon anways, its in a box thats WAYYYYY too small, so ill have it back out probably in 2 weeks or less, as soon as i get around to making a new box.

i would say its about 1 cubic foot from my guesstimation =P i would use 16 or 12 gauge wire and way shorter than that!

Its pretty thick wire, i think its 12 as it is, and yeah, its right around a cube sealed, im looking at a much bigger ported box so it can breathe better, and swapping out a gay legacy amp that i had laying around after i sold the 1000/1 and getting into the alpine 605

im not using that box.. i was curious about wiring.. the sub has a 2.6 cube box ported at 32 hz.. Should sound pretty nice, ill have it in this week, but need an amp to run it still.. looking at MRP-M850.. 200 shipped and 800w at 2ohm.. sound give me the power im looking for, nothing huge.. You dont need a ton of bass for Pantera to sound good

Last night we finished up the new box, its approx. 2.6 cubes tuned at around 32hz according to the box calculator I used, this box was originally made to have sub facing out and be shallow and backed into the trunk, but it didnt end up fitting that way because of some bracing it barely didnt fit, so now it lays flat but does the job just as well

We put the terminal on the back so I can mount the amp right there and not have too many wires, right now the wiring setup is temp and i have to put panels back on since this is a temporary amp till I decide on a new one.. either 1606 hifonics or MRP-M800, Ill get a new amp next week but till then im using this badboy it sounds pretty good but i can tell it just needs a bigger amp, but im happy with how it turned out

Got bored with an old box I was hooking up for a friend and so I ported the dog
