The backlight for my climate controls failed recently (fan and hot/cold temp control knobs). I was just wondering how difficult it was to get back there, and what kind of bulb is back there if anyone knew??

i dont remeber the bulb number but all you have to do is take the radio bezel out then the screw for the hvac controls and they pop out
bubs are a 74.

Well I'm sorry I didnt mean to look lazy. I just wasnt sure how popular this part was, and I'm still not clear on what even to ask for. 74 bulb? From what I've googled they're a small wedge LED type bulb correct?
Usually incandescent but you can get them as an LED. Should look just like one of your turn signal bulbs.
I'm just curious as well...is it just one light??? Or more than one?? Because if it's more than one I would presume that something else is the culprit and not the bulb itself, since the entire display went out. Hrmm
