So Ive heard that you have to cut holes in the rear deck to make these fit is that correct?
I'm not sure but since Type R's typically have large magnets, you probably will unless you cut out some of the sheet metal around the factory spots...
Either way, I'd top mount 'em just because you'll want them to be seen and I love how my Kickers look on the rear deck. Plus, it's not that hard to do.
i wold never top mount them cuz i live in queens nyc, cant really show off like that an expect tp keep them very long.....i would just make the factory holes bigger if need be
I don't plan on top mounting these. I got them today hopefully Ill get them in this weekend
