I am getting ready to install a DVD player in my cavi and I was just wondering the easiest way to bypass the e brake message. All info would be much appriciated.

pull your ebrake up.
i get asked this question EVERY day. i got tired of saying "ground or put the wire on a switch to ground".

i dont have a e-brake light... does that matter? Also where do you connect the wire to the e-brake to make it read its engaged?
just take the e-brake out completely.

you have the light. it may just be burned out. there's a switch on the ebrake. you've obviously never taken your center console out, so once you do that, everything should become clear to you.
