how do u take the 6x9's out of a 96 cavalier bc their is some housing over them?
Ok dude...I had to jump on GM service information...(dads a tech) neways.. you HAVE to take out the rear quarter interior panel...at least one..don't forget you have the coathanger and the saftey bolt on the seat belt. I think it is a #47 Torqs also the seat and back have to come out. I wouldn't recommend putting the replacements back in the stock place..I screwed mine to the bottom of the rear deck plate..works fine. Also...on the rear seat..on the passenger side there is a small clip that has to be removed before the seat can come out...DO NOT..I repeat DO NOT try to take out the rear deck plate without removing the interior quarter panel...you WILL break something.
