Right now i am making a few designs for Custom J-body sub boxs for 12's and 15's. I thought i would check if there is a market for maybe actaully sell them.
I would charge between 60-100$ for a custom sub box for a j-body(since trunk is a tight fit i have a convertible so this brought it about). So what you guys think?, just looking for interest thats it. if there is enough people i will produce them. in regards to cubic ft for subs and so on, they will be a pretty damn close fit! there will be enough of it for the sub size, i might make a sort of modular design thats easier to put in and out.
Also looking at doing fiberglass work. Let me know what you guys think.
btw: as fare as quality i have a full shop here thats normally used to build custom order luxury furniture.
I think for $60-$100 with a little bit of glass work, you are going to find out its not worth it.

I'll take one for the team. Build me a wall for my sunfire for 4 12 inch subwoofers, port driver side, 8.4 cubic feet tuned to 36 hertz. Need it to sit under the rear window ledge. You can build into the trunk some.
i would love a custom box to make my sub pound, all i would need is a box for my Rockford P3 built to spec....
ya just trying to see if people would pay 60-100$ for a prefect fit box etc. i am talking about producing maybe 3-6 a month high quality stuff not bestbuy junk

show samples of your work, if its good, you'll get ineterest
hop on in i've got a J
i need a half wall for 2 15's 8-9^3ft after all displacment with 140" of port tuned to 35hz's
yeah without even seeing what your do, how are people to know wheather its worth it. so many people get on here and talk about building parts for j's and if anyones intrested. if you can make them and make a profit on them you should be able to make one in an hour or two cause anything more then that your likely to lose money on the deal. so make a box. post up some pics and see who wants them.

you got my vote i will take one as long as its a costom look
yeah man I would need a box for 2 15" L7's slot vented at 3 cubic feet a side at 35hz. i might buy one but i wanna see some work first cuz i don't want to walk into a commitment blind folded you know what I mean.
I would be interested, but I want to see an example.
Basically I have been lazy and haven't had time to do any work at all on my car and I want to redo the trunk. I've always wanted too setup a contour cornered sub/amp rack setup. I want to eventually do it myself, but school and work have proven hard enough to manage. It would have to be a either a sealed 1cubic foot. or a 2 cubic foot ported at 33hz.
Let me know tho!

can i see pics when you get one built
That's why I said I'd take one for the team. I'll buy one for my needs and give everyone a review. If he can make a custom one for me, then surely he can for everyone else. If it turns out like utter crap, yeah, we'll take it from there. Plus you won't get a biased opinion from billy with two Xplode 12's saying this hits SOOOOO hard it's like a billiondy times better.
After building and then Shipping a Sub box, the cost of shipping the box would make it not worth it.
We build custom boxes at my shop, no shipping involved and it is worth it only becasue we are installing it and selling them equipment. I can't see you building a box and after shipping and cost of materials and then your time (which is the most valuable) in the end being worth it.
sell on ebay! i would be interested if i could see examples
No you did not! Lug nut, where's my box at?
Come pick up my fiberglass box project and finish it for me, my lazy ass is to....umm well...lazy (go figure) to do it
