i dont quite understand your question? if you want power trunk then you need a trunk actuator and a relay. What about the windows???

sorry it was early that day. i have a power trunk lock right now. it has an actuator on it. it only has one power wire coming from it. so do i really need a relay? If so what kind and where can i get it from?

I want to hook my spal kit up to my windows to roll them down and up. do i need a relay for each window? If so what kind

thanks

the relay is to protect the spal brain, not the actuator. if your spal brain has an internal relay already for the trunk pop, then its not necessary. if it doesn't, then yes you do need one because the actuator will pull more power than the brain circuit can give it and will burn it out. if you're unsure, do it anyway. same goes for the windows, but those already should be internally relayed.

your factory trunk wire is a low voltage signal so if you dont have a relay pack built in you will need to convert the hi voltage output to a low voltage output to your trunk so you can pop it remotely. Check the12volt.com and check under relays it will give you a configuration of changing a high voltage output to a low voltage
