I recently purchased 2 kickers L7 12 inch subs... I want to buy the right amp to power them.. would you recommend a mono amp or 2 channel..also if anyone has L7's please recommend a amp or one that you have...because i have no clue which amp i should get..i see a lot of ppl with a hifonics amp but im still not sure on an exact one which would give my subs all the power they need...thanks!!!

Are they dual 4 or dual 2? If they're dual 4, get a 1 ohm stable monoblock. If they're dual 2, get a 2 ohm stable monoblock.

good choice man. i had the same subs. i had a hifonics brutus 1500 (old style). it was a perfect match to me good luck with the build.

Mono is the best way to go when it comes to subs.

thanks...i found an amp that sounded perfect for these subs...its called a crunch pzi 3000.1...could anyone check this amp out and see if im right or wrong because amps is one thing i usually am wrong about!!!

wouldn't this be the opposite of what you posted? a dual 2 ohm sub ran in parallel will produce a 1 ohm load and a dual 4 ohm ran in parallel will produce a 2 ohm, right?

No. Two dual 4 ohm DVC subs will be to 1 ohm or a 4 ohm load.

Two 2 ohm dvcs subs with eithe be at 2 ohms or 8 ohms.
