ok so i parked my car the other night and i turned it off..i have a 2001 chevy cavalier Z24...and my stock radio read error and wouldn't play anything..keep in mind that my radio should keep playing till i open my drivers door..well i started it back up and it kept reading error and nothing would work on it..so i decided to figured it out in the morning..next morning i get in it and it didn't do anything wrong radio played and everything..
now tonight i turn my car off and the radio read check cd. i noticed it as i opened my door..i thought well my cd sucked and it was skipping anyway so thats all it was..i went to lock it with my phob and all the lights went out and nothing happend..i got in the car and the interior lights flickered on and off..i went to start it and the lights went off and nothing at all happened..i took the key out and tried it two more times and then it started fine..i turned it off and it started fine again..now it starts fine but my phob doesn't work..what the hell is wrong?! anyone have any ideas?
did the battery in the phob just die? or what
or could it be the battery cable to the starter silenoid is lose, but then y would the phob not work?
Check your battery cables at the battery.

..ha thanks man it was the positive battery connection..it was loose and had some corrosion on it..haven't had a problem yet!
