I can not decide between Kicker or Pioneer 6"x9" threeways. i have had kicker 5.25"s before, and like the fact that they actually put out some bass. however i have never used pioneers.
anybody have some useful pros/cons?

If you go pioneer make sure you get an upper level series- no walmart or BB crap
okay, say i mix and match. pioneers in the front, Kickers in the back. will i end up with any weird sound qualities, or will it sound fine?

If you like they individually, they should be fine together too. I'm mixing Pioneer, Alpine, Kicker, and Infinity equipment, and the space-time continuum hasn't swallowed my car yet.

yet is the key word. through in some jl audio and we are all screwed.
but from my experience i like the kickers better. pioneers up front and kicker in the back would be a good combo. the kickers from all the ones i have heard put out more bass then the pioneers so that would be a better sound stage.
