actually another good option that i just remember would be 4x6 inch plate speakers. i know clarion polk and infinity make them but its a four inch woofer and a tweeter component setup mounted on a 4x6 inch metal plate

cuz three ways have two tweeters, both of which are reproducing the same exact frequencies and you cannot tell that the 2nd smaler tweeter is there. i like to look at it this way, i would rather spend 99 dollars on two ways cuz then im getting a 50 woofer and a 50 dollar tweeter rather than spending 99 dollars to get three ways so that i would have a 33 dollar woofer and 2 33 dollar tweeters. basically..... but do whatever sounds best to you....

if your running just a radio and no amp i would just get the ones chris mentioned or the 3 ways your talking about. BUT if your gonna get an amp i would MOST definately go with the components....i would go with a pair of 6.5 components with a decent amp and you'd be golden......but dont waste your money on components if your not gonna amp them up!!
my plan is to amp the rear speakers and the subas i will be putting in at a later date... for now i think im just gonna go with an okay front stage. later this year i will upgrade.
