SIR fuse

installing a new head unit. i need to disable the SIR fuse... and i dont know which one it is. 2005 cavalier.
i believe #15 but am not sure????
plz help!

also could anybody show pics or explain in better detail which one is exactly the CPA connector and where exactly this yellow 2-way connector is.
i have one fuse with a blue and gray plug and 2 other yellow connectors....

you do not need to disable the airbags to install a headunit. if you know how to do it you will never even be near the airbag wires.



My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

question about the ANTENNA ADAPTER.
i bought one from NAPA... 730-4840 model its got an L shaped head. it wont fit......
where can i get one that fits and what model??

i used an l-shaped adapter, gt it from crutchfield. works fine

If anybody local sells metra, it's GM10.
If they sell scosche (Wal-Mart) it's MDA1B or MDA1

got the antenna from cc for $15. works fine. just can't finish the last part of installing my unit: tapping into 12V wire
