or you could also get a sunpro powerline series or FAZE, they all can be programmed for 2 cyl mode
Or you could pick up a cluster w/tach at the junkyard for $50...

yep... but i just like the precision of aftermarket tachs, they're much more responsive and accurate + you can have several different lightings on background... and they're a bit less of a pain to install.

really? i just swapped clusters, tried to start the car, and went to lunch. i dont see how running wires through the firewall and tapping into vital wires is easier... but to each their own. as for the accuracy, my redline on the tach is where the actual redline of the engine is... when the revs go up, it goes up, they go down, it goes down.

That's cool that you've figured out what works best for you. I don't see why you need accuracy and responsiveness for an automatic but different colors sorta kinda makes it worth it lol.
