trunk vent

dont know if this should go here or in interior, but figured here since im looking to do this for spl gains.

i know its been discussed before, and i have searched, but io have a problem.... i cant find the bloody thing!

i want to block the vent, but cant find it. ive seen pictures and threads with people having problems with leaks, but cant seem to actually find it. i know its supposed to be on the passanger side, but where? i ripped up most of the carpet on the passenger side and didnt see it from the trunk latch, to the tail light and up the side to the seat (didnt go too far from the side of the car once i reached the seat, some stuff in the trunk).

anyways, where the hell is this thing (pic would be nice too, im a visual learner) and whats the best way to cover it up?

thanks.

looking in the trunk it is on the right side behind the carpet between the wheel hump and tail light area just above the floor pan of the trunk.

hmm thats where i thought it was... i really didnt see it. might snap a pic so you guys dont think im crazy...

i did however notice some holes in the sheet metal buy the trunk latch (not in the trunk lid though, at the floor). that seem to open up under that plastic trim poece around the latch hook.

if you pull the carpet up on the passenger side, you should see it near the bottom the side between the wheel well and taillight.

do you have vents in your door opening? if you do you won't have that vent in your trunk?

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
