Does anybody have any comments or concerns. im probably going to buy one from somebody but i wanted to see how great of an amp they are. i was under the impression that Hifonics was a great brand of amp. but ive seen alot of mixed comments about them.
they are rated at 900 watts RMS @ 2Ohms and i would be running 2 subs rated at about 250 RMS a piece. but i also heard the newer line especialy the Brutus series are underated. but even if its underated by 100 watts. im still golden with power. to my 12's. so do you guys think this amp would be good.
The high end stuff is underrated ever so slightly. The stuff you're using is overrated, of course. That amp is going to be overkill for your speakers though.
yeah. but with the gains set right its gonna be WAY better then my MRP-M450. but. it really doesnt matter now. the guy sold the amp out from under me. kinda pissed. but. what can you do.
You can look for another amp!
the xx and xxv and are underrated and the 08 bxis are said to be better then the 06/07's.
they are underrated but you can still get a good amout of power out of them
yeah. i want to go a little bigger with the amp now cause i MAY upgrade subs later in a year or so. im still looking. so we will see.
