Getting the most out of Q-form kickpods.....

Ok, so I've got a set of 6.5" q-form kickpods on the way and I will be installing a set of Rainbow SLC 265 Kicks in them. I wanted to get some opinions on the best way to get the most midbass with the kickpods.

I was talking to a guy at a local shop and he suggested to line the inside skin with dynamat and use the rear deflex pads. He said sealing the kickpod might hurt more than help since the volume will be relatively small. I know that I'm sacrificing a bit of midbass to gain imaging, but I'm hoping that the "kick" version of the SLC 265's will make up for what I lose.

Any tips are appreciated!

As soon as you get them, drill holes in them and put about 4 layers of fiberglass on em

beef them up as best you can their pretty weak so get them solid, and get them tight to the floor. they will be to small to seal up you' d likely lose all your midbass do to such a small enclosure, the deflex pads might not be a bad idea. one idea is to seal them up but run a large enough vent out of the back and up into the dash. but thats allot of work.
