quick question guys.. i have a 2001 sunfire w/ the monsoon system. just wondering if there is a way to hook up aftermarket speakers in the rear w/ out having to buy the speaker harness seeing how the stock monsoon speakers were 4 wires and the alpines i picked up are only 2 wires..???

buy two way speakers and hook the longer wires to the tweeters and teh shorter ones to the woofer

I just cut my wires and spliced it in, even though you won't be able to revert it to the stock ones after, I dunno if you would ever want to...

i cut the harness off the stock speakers and wired them to the new speakers and use connectors crimped together. i kept the 3 way speakers i bought and was able to hook them up. they sound good. thanks for the help.
