annoying little problem

Anyone know what could cause my interior lights (cluster, hvac, console) to turn on 5 seconds after my head lights are turned on? Once the interior lights finally come on, I can then turn them off and on and they function immediately as they normally should. I only have that 5 second pause right after the ignition has been reset (ignition turned off, then back on). Could this be a bad relay? The fuse is brand new.

"I did it because I wanted to see what it would look like. You should be greatful that I even told you that it would look good. If your to dumb to use photoshop and change the color of your own car then you don't need to see it changed. I'm not going to give my work away. I'll sell the pic to you though for $15."-Adam Kalin

actually it was the dimmer switch. I had to drive a few days without my front dash plate in cause I was working on my stereo. Once i put that front dash cover back on and plugged in my dimmer switch, all the lights worked just fine. So i guess not having your dimmer switch plugged in will cause a 5 second delay for your interior lights to turn on.
