Hey guys I am trying to figure out the best design for a sub box in the trunk of my vert. I am getting one 10" Infinity kappa sub and a JBL 360 watt mono amp. I would like to get some good bass top up and top down. also I want to make it where it is very low profile not taking up too much trunk room. I have a family and want to continue picking up the groceries once in a while. I was thinking about doing a box that would fit in the side of the trunk made of fiberglass and 3/4" mdf. do you guys think this will sound good?? let me know your opinions.!!

I had a 10" type R in mine with an Xtant X1001 amp up until sunday and still had plenty of room for my clubs. I have a slot ported box but never got around to installing it before I yanked everything.
small sealed box and plenty of clean power is what you need.
I did exactly what you're talking about with my gf's car (fiberglass and mdf enclosure). It looks clean, and hits pretty well. It's a lot harder to get an exact volume when you're dealing with such an irregular-shaped box though. You kinda just have to make an estimation, unless you want to spend 10 hours with some pretty complex math to figure it out
Here's the link to the thread if you wanna check out how it was built:
