Alright, about a week ago I got some Memphis M3's amp cd player and such, everything has been working fine, until the night before last when my buddy gave me some neons to put under my car, and idk why but i agreed. After we had everything done everything was working fine, until i went to go home that night.

Problem 1: when i turn my headlights on, the fuse for my "running" tail lights and dash lights goes out. **EXT LP fuse**

Problem 2:while going home after all of that the audio from the cd player started to cut out but the bass was still working fine, but yesterday morning the audio came back but went back out, i hooked up the stock cd player back up to no prevail.

Car is a 2001 Chevy Cavalier and nothing i added was powered off of the fuse box, but im thinking maybe when drilling holes to mount the neons i could have hit a wire, but are there even any wires between the floor pan and the carpet that would even cause this?

was he running wires to your fuse box?
ask him how he wired it up and report back please

What do the neons do while all of this is going on? I'd guess he grounded out the dimmer lead, which I believe runs through the same fuse as the dash lights/tails.
