alright here goes, i go to abc warehouse for a wire harness (cheapo, goodbye chimes) and dash kit for my 05 cavy. i take apart the dash and pull the stock radio i splice the wires fromt he harness to my radio hooked it up and nothing, then i realize there is no switched 12V+ so i run one to the fuse panel and power, but no sound. THen i look closely at the harness and see the wires dont line up properly, so i look up gm's color coding and relign the harness wires accordingly ad i have sound, now the weird part, when the radio is on my gauge cluster dies and odometer reads "error," if i turn the head unit off theywork perfect, i have tried tapping into the ignition fuse, wiper fuse and quick connecting to the main brown ignition wire, all with no success. Is this ecause i rearranges the speaker wires on the harness or could it be something else i have installed numerous head nits before and have never before seen this.
Any and all help is appreciated.
thanks
Troy Redmond
