so i just picked up
this amp i also have a 4 channel 160x4 amp
can i keep my 4 guage wire, or do i have to upgrade to 2 guage? ill be running that amp in 2ohm mode, pushing 919 rms
so according to it, i should get 2 to 0 gauge then?
well what I'd do is run 2gauge from the battery to the back of your car into a distribution block (or something similar) - then run the 4 gauge to your old amp, and another 4 gauge to your new amp. Don't forget to make sure the ground is the same size as the power cable. (I.e - dont just ground the 2 amps with the 1 wire you're using now).
