Maybe you need to change your air filter or an o2 sensor or something? Lol.

You see, now that you have more light to push against when you're driving at night, of course your MPH is going to go down. Jeez, I mean, those things are like wicked bright.

I don't see what's so mystifying about this. Brighter lights = More current draw = Alternator load = Horsepower Loss = HIDs ruin fuel economy! They also cause erectile dysfunction.

ok here is a little help. try taking the hid's out and put stock back in. so we can cancel out that problem. Then let us know what may be the problem. hope this helps sorry for the loss of miles.

are your muffler bearings worn? also the hyper active blinker fluid works great with my LEDs nah but the two are unrelated. do you keep up on your maintenence? (air filter, fuel filter, o2 sensor)

If you got better mileage before, and now you don't, think about what you did...

Did you disconnect the battery when you put in the HID system?

Did you bump a ground cable somewhere?

Any voltage drop in the system can cause electrical issues that can in some circumstances cause lower MPG. If the computer isn't getting enough juice, it might not tell the spark to advance, or might not tell the fuel injectors to cutoff on deceleration, or God only knows what.

If this HID install is the ONLY thing you did, retrace your steps and figure out what might have gone wrong. The internet is not a likely place to find a quick answer to this. Electrical issues are best attacked with a nice paper wiring diagram and a multimeter unless it's something painfully obvious.
