How do I remove the stock stereo in a 02 sunfire? Do i have to take the whole dash off?

no. open the glovebox. to the left there will be 2 screws holding the trim piece over the radio. remove them and pull the trim piece off the radio/heater controls and there should be 2 screws holding the radio onto the dash. simplest install ive ever done, and hopefully will be for you. hope it helps
